Our Story
PhilInvest was founded in 2017 by a group of financial experts who recognized a significant gap in the Philippine investment landscape: accessible, jargon-free guidance for everyday Filipinos who wanted to grow their wealth but didn't know where to start.
Our journey began when our founder, Miguel Reyes, lost a significant portion of his savings through uninformed investment decisions. Rather than becoming discouraged, this experience motivated him to educate himself thoroughly about the Philippine investment ecosystem. As his knowledge grew, so did his passion for helping others avoid similar pitfalls.
What started as informal investment workshops in Metro Manila quickly evolved into a comprehensive educational platform. By 2019, we had established partnerships with leading financial institutions and expanded our reach to other major cities across the Philippines. When the pandemic hit in 2020, we pivoted to a digital-first approach, which unexpectedly allowed us to reach thousands more Filipinos both locally and overseas.
Today, PhilInvest has helped over 15,000 first-time investors start their wealth-building journey with confidence, clarity, and proper guidance. Our community continues to grow as we remain committed to our core belief: financial freedom should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their starting point.

He holds an MBA from Asian Institute of Management and is a Certified Financial Planner.
Isabella Santos
Head of Education
Isabella transforms complex financial concepts into easy-to-understand lessons. With a background in educational psychology and 8 years at the Philippine Stock Exchange's investor education department, she designs our learning materials and workshops. Her passion is making financial literacy engaging and accessible.
